As I continue the quest for more information on what to eat and why..... Ive tweaked my “Paleo/Primal” way of eating to fit a Ketogenic way of eating . This had resulted in me dropping 35lbs in 3 months, my clothes not fitting and the unsettling urge to do sprints when walking the dogs..... DH’s blood sugar has also improved from borderline to spot on perfect (diagnosed diabetic about 5 years ago, controlled with diet but always a lil higher than we would have liked although no longer classed diabetic) and his clothes are fitting looser. For anyone interested in whats & whys I can highly recommend listening to Dr. Jason Fung (you can also buy his books which are very good but he provides all the info free online) Anyways. Enough of that.. This thread is mostly just to taunt you all with my oh so restrictive diet Cause I can....& I'm mean like that.... Slow bbqed smoked pork butt with guacamole, cream fresh in a lettuce wrap Sirloin with a black garlic butter, grilled cherry toms, garlic fried asparagus... and more black garlic butter Crusted Parmesan and porkrind rosemary lamb chop, grilled artichoke, green beans, asparagus and tomatoes Will post more later......
1/2 lb coarse grind burger with blue cheese, thick cut steaky bacon, carmelized onions, tomato and lettuce on a cloud bun with cream cheese and Dijon
What that weed on top of the meat ? I just ate a Whataburger with double mustard lettuce, onion, tomato no cheese I'm a purest and I can watch them make it good clean place.

Slow cooked chili pork ribs finished on the bbq. Coleslaw and bacon & rainbow chard fried in bacon lov.. I mean grease...
Venison loin medalions wrapped in streaky bacon, brocolli & cheese sauce(edam & mascapone) mixed tomatoes, olives and grilled artichokes. Leftover spareribs deboned and chopped up. Then fried to crispy, add in Grilled paddron peppers and tomatoes, fresh coriander, served with guacamole, cream freshe and chicharrones
That is amazing. I just looked it up after you said that. Keto Cloud Bread - Easy Low Carb Burger Buns, Essentially Carb Free That is so easy to make and has basic ingredients. Do they (cloud buns) keep well? Shelf life, store in fridge?
They keep a couple days pretty well, I find there better for sandwiches/burgers if there not to fresh, we make them the day before, pop in a sealed plastic box once cooled and there good to go.
Fillet steak grilled with butter, portabello mushrooms asparagus and cherry tomatos all done on the bbq. Garlic butter fried shiitake mushrooms in a pan and added portabella and black garlic cloves to finish (hard to do shiitake’s on the bbq)
Pastramii and edam cheese under the grill to heat/toast cheese. Then on a cloud bun with cream cheese and avocado.
