Some of the vB software has become fizzled after a few add-ons and then upgrades. I've noticed some things starting to hang and timing out. I'm going to perform a fresh install of the entire site. This may mean we are down for a bit and then I'll be adding back some of the features you know and love... plus a few more. Trust me, It will be worth it. Got me to wondering. Is everything here backed up somewhere? We have so much great info accumulated that I would hate to see it disappear.
Yes. We do nightly backups of the data. THat data is stored on a seperate server. If we lost everything here, I'd just reload the forum infrastructure and then point it back to the database for the info. I also download the database every so often so that I have the data as well. If we lost the database, we'd only lose 3 days at the most of info.
