There's something sneaky going on at...

UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

    Anna Maria, Florida.

Now, I admit that when I get a hankerin' for some KFC (Kentucky-Fried Conspiracy) I just can't stop 'til I get enough...

    SO.

Here's an interesting little news story that showed up on Rense.com.

In summary, Manatee County deputies were called to a suspicious beach fire, where they found a metallic object in flames. The Fire Dept. arrived and put out the fire. Public works employees raked and shoveled up all the debris, and took the metallic object away.

Then (and here's where it gets interesting!) several hours later, after dark, a man walking on the same beach saw some "glowing rocks". He picked them up and put them in his pocket.

The rocks burned his legs, pants, and hand. "Later".

That's post-contact for the hand, at the very least.

First, there are no rocks on this planet that glow at room temperature. None.

(Well--maybe a few, like pure Radium, and white phosphorus.)

The article said nothing about the color of the glow, or the presence (or absence) of smoke.

Second, if the rocks were glowing because they were hot, they would have to have been at least 752 degrees F, for a dull red glow visible in the dark. Or 1,077 degrees F for a dull red glow visible in daylight.

Or, maybe, 2,012 degrees F for a nice cheerful orange-red.

NONE of those temperatures would allow a person to casually pick the rocks up and put them in their pocket.

The burns to the hand would have been instantaneous, and the "rocks" would have never made it to the inside of a pocket in the first place.

The kicker, of course, is this: The "object" that was put out by the Fire Department has "been identified" as a military training flare.

And hazmat will search the area for any additional debris.

Military training flare my Articulated Sub-Structure!

I guess marsh gas is passe, and everybody knows the planet Venus does not (usually) crash and burn on the sunny beaches of Florida.

My spidey sense says that there will be no follow up stories, and anyone associated with the incident will be desperate to keep their mouths shut about it.

    While they still can.

OK--I'm all good for my mandatory minimum Conspiracy fix, now, so I can put my tinfoil tuxedo back on the hanger until Next Time...

Which will probably be, you know, like, tomorrow.

What if the “rocks weren’t totally dry but then dried off in his pocket after a few minutes. Phosphorous. Or was it chem burn and not thermal burn?

It looks like there is a National Guard base near there. Do the national guard have things like that?

Probably some of that Fukashima stuff stuck on the hull of one of our ships you know like when your walking across your yard and you step in the neighbors dog fecal matter, it takes a while to get it off and the smell lingers -- all the way to the east coast or it could have nothing to do with the fire could be radioactive or, the man could have an STD and was too embarrassed to tell so he made up this story of how his leg was rotting off.

Reminds me of a 1950's horror movie I once saw is there a large breasted blond named Nicky, wears painted on white shorts and a banjo string top in this story ? If not my interest is waining :ROFLMAO:
Moral of this story, don't pick up glowing rocks and if your a volunteer fireman don't volunteer to put out weird beach fires.

I use to run with some brits who played a running game called 'hares and hounds' one person was the hare and got a head start and the object was for the 'hounds' to find him before he reached to finish line. The hare uses cornstarch or flour to mark the trail you have to follow as a hound.

they eventually had to start notifying the policy that they were running because people were calling in seeing white poweder on the ground and thought it was coke..... so i guess people are more alert than you think, what disturbs me is they all want to call the police 1st

No, MM34, I wouldn't think so not unless there was something special out that way giving reason to test there. But, normally, NG bases would not have anything special.

and certainly not used on a public Beach.... Even if it fell off an NG Aircraft, they would report the loss, and send out a team to recover the debri....

Oddly enough, it may actually have been some pieces of white phosphorus.

Apparently, the stuff looks like amber, and is stable as long as it's under water--or still wet.

I saw a report of a British woman who picked up what looked like some pieces of amber as she walked on a beach.

She put them in her jacket pocket, then sat down for a rest. She took her jacket off and folded it up beside her.

A few moments later, her jacket started burning.

Willy Pete, left over from WWII. It had been underwater the whole time.

    The woman escaped injury.

I think it was an advance piece of the super dense asteroid headed this way, and the reaction of sodium chloride and oxygen on the Unobtanium caused the fire, and the glowing power cells that looked like rocks self destructed when they were separated a sufficient distance from the craft.

Pretty sure it's Muller's evidence of Russian collusion. Apparently there is a tape of Trump telling Medvedev to let Putin know he would have more flexibility after the election.
