We have coyotes here in coastal SC you can hear them howling at night. We are close to the Francis Marion Forest so there is no getting rid of them. Been seeing a lot of armadillos in the last couple of years
I live in Hemet California and we have millions of coyotes. I've group that sings to me every day and night. They keep the mouse and rat populations in check.
Plenty in North Central Texas. Ours are bigger and run about 55 pounds with almost a charcoal colored coat.
We have them in SW Central Texas too along with, Puma, Hogs, and Gray Fox. The Foxes keep the rodents down here in the hood while cats seem to work on birds and snakes.
