We have coyotes here in coastal SC you can hear them howling at night. We are close to the Francis Marion Forest so there is no getting rid of them. Been seeing a lot of armadillos in the last couple of years

We have them in SW Central Texas too along with, Puma, Hogs, and Gray Fox. The Foxes keep the rodents down here in the hood while cats seem to work on birds and snakes.

alaska goes through the same predator/prey pendulum controversy. nature does not have a happy balance. snowshoe hare population peaks and predators decimate them, then starve. its a pendulum. the title is not amusing.

Under No One Could Have Predicted This… Montana Eyes Aggressive Wolf Management Plan to Restore Balance

so carrying capacity of the area is 500 or so but no one told the wolves and at over 1k they expand and find cattle, sheep ect much easier prey. beats starving like the natural population control. cali is talking about expanding wolfs.
most folk watched a movie and think wolves/coyotes manage the herd and only take the old sick injured, but. a wolf or coy will kill whatever it can get a hold of just for the thrill. most of the kills they leave 90%. if they are starving in winter they will clean a carcas, but that is the exception, not the rule. want proof? look at cali known wolf depredation cases. none of the dead cattle are eaten most are killed and left. see the depredation pdf files and pics at the bottom.

    Gray Wolf

ranchers think this is obvious but are out numbered by clueless city folk. good luck getting a hunting season or trapping or even state predator control. oh my god they are shooting wolves, coyotes, hogs from heilos. no one seems to wonder why. if we had a zombie apocalypse the same folks would be protesting for zombie rights. Stefan Molyneux posted this recently. up to half have no inner dialog. truly frightening, and explains alot.

It is ESSENTIAL to remember that between a third and a half of people have NO inner monologue or dialogue. They don’t debate with themselves, they have no inner conversations – they exist in a blur of images and sensations and feelings. And they are all around you…
