David slings

Yes all it takes is practice I like to make glades from clay and fire harden them they fly Google and hit hard but spark plugs are awesome.

 

Ouch! I just had a vision of a wire mesh staff sling pocket throwing pieces of prickly pear! (Native coastal cactus)

 

After SHTF there should be lots of spark plugs...

I used one as a kid, you loop that end that has the loop in it around your wrist so it doesn't fly off, I just used paracord and a piece of leather, it really doesn't take long to get good with it.
