I know this is a broad question,, that has many factors ,,, but ,, for you Texas folks ,,, where is the best area to be in Texas?? And why ?? I've got an offer ,, not to disclose the offer ,, but ,, where is an area that is a small town feel ,, possibly close to larger areas ,, but has most amenities,, etc ,,, Where would you go ?? I'm looking at a move ,, but ,, not sure what area I need to look for . I'm not a big city person .
I hope you get answers, I've wondered too. I've lived in Del Rio and Seagoville (suburb of Dallas) and Wichita Falls, of those I would not trade where I am. One of our criteria when we chose west TN was not a place that needs water, but has enough. I don't recall anyplace in TX like that, but I didn't see it all. Definitely not interested in Austin.
