I have a nice m6 ithica arms usaf idk about the paper but I got it from dead dad. I just need to get it gone and get some money I just had a kid and moving state from AK.
What? registered? Just sell it to a person that's not restricted and get a bill of sale if it makes you feel better? You sure that's not a M-66 single shot? Edit, Just go thru a gun store.
Tough spot to be in. If it indeed has the 14" barrels and was not registered prior to the end of the grace period in 1968 then possession in the USA is illegal. Canada might be a different story.
My suggestion is to find a firearms attorney. Selling this in a face to face sale is probably illegal without the AOW tax stamp. As for having a gun shop or other ffl do the sale and take a cut of the sale .. is it an option? I've no idea. I'm not an attorney but this firearm screams danger to me. Atty, might be able to help facilitate getting this stamp. You don't want to wind up in the graybar hotel while your child grows up.
Unfortunately, BATFE has no provision for putting items on the registry after the deadline. Selling it would be illegal, possessing it is illegal and it could even be considered conspiracy to discuss it. It royally sucks, but it is what it is.
Who is this Alaskakid and why are his first two posts concerning a firearm that may or not be highly illegal? This screams" trolling" and "set-up" to me! I know that Kash is in charge of the ATF, but a lot of the same people are still there and up to the same stuff as usual! Remember, no matter who is in charge, illegal is illegal! Now Alaskakid might turn-out to be alright and become a valued member someday, but not today! I hope that nobody is thinking about buying this gum!
Well, we have long known we were being watched. I bet I am on many "lists". But if they are surveiling me, they are being bored to tears.
