I have two of these wonderful little sights. I mentioned them to my coworkers, but they had no idea they existed. I'm trying to figure out why these sights aren't more popular. I pulled a couple of pictures off the interwebs so I could elaborate on what my own words weren't able to explain.

These little sights don't need batteries because they have a HUGE tritium vials that keep them illuminated at night, and overhead lighting during the day.

They do, by the very operation of the sight, obscure the sight picture the same way open sights do. I can see this as being a point towards a use case for a red dot over the See All. I'm not going to lie, that can be the whole reason someone might want a red dot over a See All.

Where these little guys shine is the fact that they are always on and ready to use. The tritium vials are large enough to remain illuminated for 30 years. Mine are still bright.

Anyone here run one of these on your pistols or rifles?

First one I've seen - who makes them, and to you have a preferred model?

They make them for pistols and rifles. I have two, but they are older models; it seems that the new ones are RMR compatable or a different style of picatinny rail mounts.

I'm in the middle of getting a dovetail mounted adapter plate for an RMR pattern optic, so I'll probably get the new pistol sight for it. Even my old eyes can focus on the target point with a See All.

    Do these sights illuminate ?
Meaning, do they emit any light ,, at night,,
Just thinking if they do,, it could make you a target ,, or affect your night vision .
Just wondering,, I did see in some of the descriptions,, it mentioned illumination .

Yes, they glow like three dot night sights, only a bit larger and one piece. Not super bright, but definitely noticeable through the magnifying lens, but hidden behind the frame of the sight on the sides and front.

If you were only using it at night I guess you could tape over the light source. I'll have to take a look at it tonight in the dark.

I checked... it does glow a tiny bit, but not visible when in the holster.
