That may possibly be so but, energy transfer from the shaft to the game is only part of the equation for taking down the prey. There only needs to be adequate energy to cause the projectile to deliver sufficient injury to either kill or maim the target animal. The weapon profile, mass and pointy end's configuration are also variables to be considered in taking down a target. Sometimes circumstances dictate what one has at the time that the target of opportunity presents itself.
