Do the internal parts of an AK, ie triggers, bolts, carriers, etc fit and work properly in an AK of another make? Would Norinco parts be difficult to find?

The easiest way to find "Norinco parts" is to find someone that changed out MAK 90 parts from the original to Tapco.

Not really sure what you are trying to accomplish !?

Tapco's trigger parts work well in all applications, but the MAK90 is about as good as it gets in the AK world.

Are you trying to "build" an AK from scratch/kit?

If so, it's what you have to start with and staying with that type AK that will be the least expensive in time and parts.

Type parts for a norinco ak into your favorite search engine. Norinco parts aren't difficult to find.

You can purchase an original Chicom trigger group or US made replacements. Some prefer the Chicom double hook over single hook trigger. With a very few exceptions, AK accuracy is ~3 moa or better; IMO, it is a moot point.

basically all internals are interchangeable between the same caliber. with the exception of the feed ramps.

if switching out a bolt or carrier or both, you should have the head space checked!!

triggers all swap out. but you need to know if you have a "single hook" or "Double hook" trigger.
