A friend of mine...a parrothead friend of mine..is going to be interviewed on The Today Show..tomorrow...November 3rd...and it is going to air at 8:09 EST...her interview.. It is about abuse. And what she went through. And how she has survived and come through it. Jimmy Buffett's music was part of what helped her get through a lot of it...and she may show up in full parrothead regalia...(yeah, yeah..we do stuff like that.... ) She has been an inspiration to me...and a friend...I already told them I'd be late at work tomorrow..and have been given the OK...She also gave me the OK to tell other people.... So..if you're near a television tomorrow morning...My friend...gaylyn.... She is one hell of a woman....and on her way to healing.....
PS.. Just got this from her: Post Script... NBC just called my room and ONLY my taped interview will be on tomorrow.... Anyhoo, what I am saying is that I won't be on the LIVE part of the show..... I will be on, but only for a short time... and it was taped on MOnday. She thought that I would be upset...!!!!! So look for the "beach blonde". Thanks for your sincere prayers.. BUT, I do know that GENTLE breezes and KIND thoughts were sent from the BN seas.... I was so thrilled to get the call last night that I wouldn't be on LIVE. I would have pooped my hula skirt, to be certain. Regardless.. did anyone tape it??? Or could someone still tape it.. it still hasn't been shown in Central or Pacific time.
