I was just curious how many here are members of frats or community groups like eagles club, optimists, rotary, A.F.& A.M. or something similar.

It seems to me that it might be a good way to meet good folks in the area and add to the list of potential allies WTSHTF.

Fraternity people take offense to 'frat', you wouldn't call your country a _______...
I was in a Social fraternity in college. Haven't had the time nor desire to join anything else. I tend to find a group of like minded men at whatever church I've landed in for discussion, networking and planning.

Have no need for them. Don't need it, don't want it, won't have it.

I prefer 'friends', and I don't have many. Those I do have are trusted. [beer]

I'm in the Grange and there are a fair number of like minded self sufficient people in this conservative political organization.

I belong to the Mobile Pistol Shooters Association. We have about fifty members but it seems like only about half that number are active most the time. I belong to numerous professional organizations.

I have to agree. My uncle, Ret Army Drill instructor was one, he really got obnoxious after the 33rd degree. He whispered in my ear on his death bed, 'don't ever become a Mason'.

Frats is just easier to swype on the phone I post from. No offense intended.

I was just curious, and kind of wondered if we had any of ' those scum sucker' types around.

They are everywhere. Every state, most towns -all occupied by "take your pick" clubs and societies, most of which are linked in some way to Freemasonry. Sure, they do great for communities...on the surface. And yes, they really are scum. They invite police, lawyers, bankers, and politicians into their midst all the time, just so they can continue to steer opinion and set policy. It's sickening. Tell a "common man" he might have lineage to kings of old, declare him a "Knight of Malta", make him feel special, intelligent, and better than the rest...and he will believe it eventually.

Here's a clue: They all bleed red.
