Very neat idea! I think I recall seeing it or something similar at Sportsman's Warehouse. Next visit, I'll look for it.
I like the idea of a portable grate, but I highly doubt the rustproof claim. I've had several stainless steel grates that rusted away after a year of use.
You are right - "Stainless Steel" is merely more rust resistant. I have found rust on SS gun barrels. Exposed to extreme heat - it'll rust faster.
