There is no law against being stupid but I'm sure they should be able to find something to charge them with.
They should of left them there and still sent them a bill. Wasting resources of emergency personnel or the likes.
I hadn't heard about this,not too far from where I live.Too stupid to walk out the other direction,I suppose.It's not like that area is uncharted wilderness..
