    Hi

I plan to rewrite and combine two of my far-future space opera stories. What I need, more or less, are a few people to read through them all and give me their honest advice. Any help would be warmly welcomed and may even be rewarded by cameos.

Any takers? Post your name and email here.

    I've attached both stories.

I want to combine the two, so don't worry about spell-checking or grammer checking. The general plan is below:

    Inverse Shadows<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

It is the year 4000, humanity’s Golden Age.

Advanced technology and social development have created the Confederation, a post-scarcity society. Trillions of humans live their lives without fear or want. The Peacekeepers patrol the Milky Way, keeping the peace between humanity and countless alien races. The human race is supreme among corporal societies. The only mystery remaining is that of the transcendent, godlike aliens living in the darker regions of space...

And yet, an ancient trap is waiting for humanity. Desperate to tap into the power of the universe itself and match the all-powerful transcendent races, the Confederation carries out an experiment that goes horrifically wrong, tearing a hole in reality itself and allowing deadly alien entities to enter our universe. All of humanity’s science and knowledge seems useless against the aliens...

...For how can you fight a foe that you cannot even comprehend?

    Inverse Shadows: Ragnarok

The Inverse Shadows, incomprehensible and deadly alien entities, have been unleashed upon the universe and the Confederation, the society that inadvertently allowed the entities to enter our reality, is on the verge of collapse. World after world falls to the entities, while the most powerful weapons humanity has ever devised fail to even touch the invaders. With the entire human race under threat, some turn to the old gods for salvation, while others plot to betray the remainder of the universe to the entities. The human race, once masters of the Milky Way, is on the verge of extinction.

With all seemingly lost, the telepath Aisha leads an exhibition into the Dead Zone, in search of the last remains of the Ancient Civilisation, a society wiped out millions of years ago by the Inverse Shadows. If her mission is unsuccessful, the entire universe will be condemned to a fate worse than death.

Inverse Shadows: Twilight of the Gods

The Confederation, humanity’s greatest society, lies broken, consumed by the Inverse Shadows. The transcendent races, all-powerful godlike entities, have been unable to close the rift in space and time that allowed the Inverse Shadows access to our reality. Now, with reality breaking down and the Inverse Shadows reaching out to threaten even Their existence, the transcendent races are preparing the final sanction, the complete destruction of mortal space and time. The end of everything is at hand.

There is one last hope. If a rogue team of survivors can reach the Gateway, the link between the Inverse Shadows and our reality, perhaps it can be closed. But all of the power of the Confederation is arrayed against them, serving the Inverse Shadows. The stakes have never been higher – and the price of victory may be higher than the price of defeat...

Chris, I've read and enjoyed three of your books. I'll give "Invasion" a go, if you still want reviewers.

I especially enjoyed "Storming Heaven", what a great book!

    I'll send you a PM.
