Few Weeks Ago I ordered a Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon II backpack to replace my old worn falling apart duffel like workbag. Well after a lil hiccup they had what with my ship to address being different than my physical or mailing address they sent it on its way. I wanted it coming to me at work, not sitting on my Front porch all day while I was at work.

Well after it came in I took it out of the box & was surprised at the high quality as well as the numerous pockets & points to hook things onto it. Put it back in the box & a week later finally had the mental energy to transfer my things from my old work bag into it. It swallowed it without any trouble with tons of room to spare. Heh been carrying it to work for two weeks & am still finding more places made to latch gear on that I didn't notice before.

While it is a backpack with the shoulderstraps & the chest strap I tend to carry it by the heavyduty straphandle built into the top of it. So far I'd say this is a very good quality product & well worth the money I paid for it. I like it so much, I'm think of getting its big brother the regular Falcon II to put my E&E kit I keep in the truck in, instead of the Walmart bought backpack I currently have it in.

    I got mine in black.

Only regret, I got two of the red NiteEyez thingys they had to put on a couple the zipper pulls. Regret I didn't get a pair the white ones too, as the outside of the pack has a total of 4 zipperpulls & with pack being black & them also, it takes a second to find them sumtimes.

That's a nice bag thanks for the site Im going to have to order a new one.

I ordered one three months ago one of the durango three day assault packs. Love the bag good space and seperated pocket but the strap is pulling lose from the bottum of the pack. I only have about 20lbs in it. Thats what happens when you try and cut cornners to save a few dollars.

Alpha, I'm STILL finding places that I could hook things on, even on the shoulder straps. Especially if I had of bought the carabiner hooks. Bottom has tough anti-skid pad. Teflon coating on the fabric to waterproof it. I work in a textiles/cloth mill so recognize quality cloth. It claims & my eyeballs confirmed the heavy stitching on the stresspoints. If you get black like I did, I suggest getting the NiteEyez light thingys to put on each the exterior zipperpulls. Makes them easier to find LoL

Very nice bag; thanks for sharing.

We bought a Maxpedition Fatboy for my son for Christmas. We also got it in black--it looks less tactical than other color choices.

My son just loves it. It functions great as a small courier-type bag, has a ton of pockets, etc., and he can also use it for alternative carry of his Glock 19.

I loved your comments about the quality and the unbelievable number of pockets and options to attach thing to the bag---exactly what everyone in our family had thought.

If anyone out there is in the market for some various sized bags to carry your stuff and you are short on time, you could do a lot worse than buying a Maxpedition product. I suggest you check them out online--I do not think you will be let down. Darn good quality products!

Bag still good as new. Its not exactly used hard carrying my work stuff but dang if that hand carrying strap ain't tough as at work & home thats what I hang it up by. An my bag regularly has 20-25 pounds worth of stuff in it. Definately satisfied with my purchase, just sorry I didn't ditch that crappy lil one place to put everything duffle bag a lot sooner that I USED to carry my work stuff in!!!
