The History Channel will once again be running the episode of The Big Build - The Fort - on

This is the project I worked on with John McPhearson for the history channel where we built a replica of Fort Clatsop. If you catch it Im the one introduced as 'and a mountian of a man from Missouri named Brad' lol that runs around in a cammo boonie hat.

I caught half of it, even stayed up late. I saw MM a couple of times, sharpening the tip of logs, and moving wood on the roof. Cool. MM, did you make any money off of the History Channel or was it all volunteer work?

We made a little off of it, I was there helping with some of the prep work like cutting trees for the logs and such for about 10 days before hand and then the 10 days or so of the build and we were going 7 days a week about 10-12 hours a day, I got travel expenses, meals and 1k. We were on a tight budget and if you break it down to hours it wasnt high paying by any means but it was a blast to be able to do it.
