    Good looking blade. I am interested to see how it functions with that shock absorption design, and from the brief review, it might actually be a solid win.

    Right off the top, I can say that I don't like the notch in the blade, but to each their own. I also don't like redundant retention straps, but again, to each their own. The strap can be easily removed, so that's no problem, but the notch is there to stay.

    I like it. Even the notch.

    I don't know about the the "shock absorption". I prefer not to chop with a sheath knife. I need at least 12" of blade to chop with. Anything less seems inefficient.

    If I was gonna carry that much knife, I'd go ahead and carry my katana.
