Good read. On NRA radio's Cam & Company they stated they were going to go state-by-state to ensure that this could not happen again.

Oh, it will happen again, we just have to hope the injunction gets granted, so there is a precedent. Not even in the Rodney King riots did the police try to confiscate civilian weapons. Of course, LAPD was doing the NOPD thing, watching the problem get smaller in the rearview mirror.

Yeah, and look at all the nifty laws Kali has now, so that the cops don't have to take weapons:D

That's what I said earlier, elsewhere. This was LAPD and they see a gun and think Criminal

The injunction was granted. The firearms owners who had their firearms consficated were promised their firearms back. Now, how they are going to know what belongs to whom is another story since they refused to give anyone a reciept.

"That Barret is mine, along with that pile of AR's!"

Thats probably how they'll get around it with most of them. If the people dont have serial numbers and or documentation to prove it is thiers then they dont get it back, if they do have the info then most of those will probably have been 'lost' or already destroyed. Kind of like my girlfriend used to have a fully legal, registered and everything Tech 9 she had bought through a gun shop. It got stolen and she let the cops know that she wanted it if found, she didnt move and the phone was on the whole time and when she checked back with them htey had found it and melted it down and claimed they had tried to contact her many times and since she couldnt be found or reached then they had destroyed it.
