I've seen everybody here talking about Jericho so much, but I never bothered even reading what it was about(never watch network tv). I just read about it and it sounds awesome!

    My prob..

I see the new episodes start July 6.

but I haven't seen the early episodes and I want to start from the beginning.

The DVD's won't be released until October.

I'm on dial up so downloading is out.

Is there any chance that they are going to be running.. or maybe are running repeats of the earlier seasons?

If I understood the promo, they will rerun last season's before the new ones are aired. I hope they do.

Actually, the July date is for the repeats from last season. I assume they will show the pilot, then all of the episodes. I don't believe CBS has decided when the new episodes will air, they are going to use "Jericho" as a mid-season replacement. If one of the new shows falls flat on it's face then "Jericho" will replace it right away, if not it might be Jan. before we see the new episodes. If you got o www.jerichorallypoint.com, or even the CBS message board for "Jericho" http://jerichoboard.cbs.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?webtag=CBSMBJericho&redirCnt=1 you can find out a little about it.

You really need to get hi-speed, the internet sucks without it. Even Yahoo has some cheap hi-speed you can get through your phone lines. Check into it. I have friends that have it and love it.

Ok, the July (6?) date is for "taking it from the top".... Great! Thanks for the good news!

I'm impressed that the fanbase got them to reinstate the show. Makes me think it's really good stuff. A while back we sci-fi fans of the series "Firefly" tried to do the same thing but failed.

EL... I used to have cable internet, and boy do I miss it, but I have to prioritize for my financial sit right now and I'm getting my dial up for only 10 bucks a month. Maybe one of these days again.

I'm thinking of ditching my 'Hi speed' satellite system for Dial up again.
I like the net but it's not really worth $90 a month anymore.
We can sure talk ourselves into a lot of things we think we can't live without at the risk of becoming Paris Hiltons with our Blue Ray, HDTV, and other unnecessary crap.

I have a couple of friends who have Yahoo hi-speed and they love it. For $15 a month it is about the same price as dial up. All you need is a phone line. Of of the guys that I know that has it is a financial officer for a big lumber company and he has to transfer and download big files a couple of times a week from home. They have had it about a year and they love it.

I dumped DSL a couple of years ago. T'was paying $39.99+ (close to $50 with all the taxes@fees)so back to dialup I went (surfglobal, cheap and reliable nationwide).

ATT just took over BellSouth, and BS had a monopoly on DSL at $29.99+, so ATT can't offer the "Yahoo/ATT package here.

One thing I did notice when I went back to dial up was it was faster than before. I guess the competition for bandwidth changed as folks went for DSL.

    Anyway who needs YouTube :sneaky:
