    About The WASP:

As divers, we all know what the effects of compressed gas are underwater. Our training teaches us that our lungs would burst from over-inflation if we held our breath and rose to the surface. This principle is key to the effectiveness of the WASP Injection System.
This weapon injects a frozen ball of compressed gas approximately the size of a basketball at 850psi nearly instantly. The effects of this injection will drop many of the world's largest land predators. The effects of the compressed gas not only cause over-inflation during ascent when used underwater, but also freezes all tissues and organs surrounding the point of injection on land or at sea. When used underwater, the injected gas carries the predator to the surface BEFORE blood is released into the water. Thus giving the diver added protection by diverting other potential predators to the surface.

Added bonus: you can fill the CO2 cylinder with black powder and put a wick on it and blow shit up after you blow up your shark. I love recycling!

This would be an interesting weapon for assassination, especially if they made an ice-pick version of it that popped out the front like a micro-tech, maybe from an umbrella or cane. The archery equivalent shouldn't be over-looked either and especially for spear tips on pneumatic launchers both above and below water. I wonder if there is anything that would preclude use of a neuro-toxin gas rather than CO2?

    How does that work?

If you're under water and you stab something with a circulatory system (let's use a large shark as an example), chances are that you will cut blood vessels. What prevents those severed blood vessels from expelling their contents until that entity (the large shark) reaches a shallower depth? Wouldn't the expanding gas escape from the same hole that the blood would escape? Would the expanding gas push blood out?

It's an interesting concept, but the claims sound too good.

Wow... cool a million brainstorm ideas will propagate from this( I'd be surprised if something this lethal isn't controlled soon, I like the umbrella idea.)
