I'm thinking on using an old 25cubic ft freezer with a possible fan to keep air circulating and using straw to help absorb any moisture... any thoughts?
We used to use metal wash tubs. Take some beach sand and dry it out, and layer your hard veggies between layers of sand. Potatoes, carrots and apples store really well.
