AWESOME! AWESOME! pure effin epic win... and nothing BUT win. I was looking for something that would tackle the annoying ringing and muffled hearing after a day at the range. I found the surefire EP6. I didn't know what size I would need, so I bought all 3 sizes. Small would be good for a youngster. Medium would be good for anyone 18 and up and in that age range, some people with larger ears may find the large size to be necessary. So basically, these things allow me to hear people speaking AND block out the *bang* of my AR. It sounded like a hand clapping. It was amazing!! I let my buddy use the large ones and he agrees. No after-range hearing issues reported. HIGHLY recommended!!
check out surefire's sound suppressors for AR-15's, folks. Once you install their propietary flashhider, the cans just twist and snap onto your Ar's muzzle, takes 3 seconds or less. of course, they get hot from firing, so beware when removing one.
maybe you would be dumb enough to print that on a public forum, but I am not. surefire's cans have been around for more than 5 years, too. What's the matter, are you THAT unable to counter anything that I have said here? Why not ask if the .22 rds impact close enough on the target to make them viable with the 223 in the field, or if 223 subsonics cycle the action, or if the 1 in 7" rifling twist needed for 127 gr 223's ruins the accuracy of the 22lr unit, or if the .22 unit is reliable or accurate enough to be of value as a foraging instrument, etc? Because you don't KNOW ENOUGH to ask such pertinent questions, that's why.
