I have a TOK and want another one while they are still coming in. I LOVE mine! Ammo is still cheap, stock up immediately

In the Box o Truth tests it had more hard surface penetration than a hot loaded .357 magnum with 8 inch barrel.. the TOK caliber penetrated one side of a US PASGT helmet!

As far as flintlock blackpowder weapons I have two Scottish Murdoch 50 cal flintlock pistol replicas and may someday buy a matching Doglock flintlock rifle.. they are mostly for Exhibition in my Scottish arms display and for fun. They are over the den fireplace in separate glass cases in between Scot shields and crossed broadswords/daggers. Be sure you have a nice bag of high quality flints, learn to set them square against the frizzen. Always test one out before you trust it. They do not last forever and if you can re-knap one you may get more service out of it. I simply bought a nice handful of original vintage flints for my pistols and call it good. I had a 52 cal NEI custom mold made and I have two soup cans of balls loaded up now, probably more than I will ever use. I drilled my own flash holes as they come from Canada and they leave them that way so as for them to be "non firearms" for shipping purposes

Money for SHTF is better spent on loaded ammo or components, IMO

In one of the Young Guns movies there was a scene on a bat cave mining op.. that's exactly right, they did mine for guano

Yep, made black powder. Still here. Ball mills are designed to be non sparking. Aluminum is your friend.

Aintit, you always seem to believe that there is going to be an army of men out to get you. I wonder what Freud would say about that.

Anyway, this isn't about the perfect weapon, it's all about options.
