A friend had brought me this really old 4.0 onan this summer..
He and his team were able to make or machine a ventura to go over the throat of the carburator and put together the correct regulator's for me so that i was able to convert this to a duel fuel unit...I think it's about 30 year's old and still run's strong...

These old Onan Gensets really are that good for backup power needs. they are Built to LAST, and are rebuildable. Good used ones can be found in RV Junkyards, and on the auction sites, and some can be had, REALLT Cheap. If you can turn a wrench, you can keep one going for many, many years. Should anyone need information on ANY Onan Product, I would invite you to ask our Resident SmartGuys, over on the Antique Engines Antique Tractors Steam Engines and Old Iron, Onan Forum. There are folks over there, with ManYears of Onan Factory Expertise.
