    I'm looking for a clock(duh) no wait, this is what I'm looking for;

    A wind-up day/date/AM/PM clock.
    MAYBE an 8 day clock!!!!!!!!
    No batteries because of EMP(no I don't want to store it then take it out when needed, think about it, what if you bring it out of it's Faraday box then fall asleep and it stops......so what time and day is it?)

    I've been looking on ebay but still haven't found what I' looking for.

    You's guys have any idea where I can go?(stop it!) My Dad had a travel clock that would have met my requirements but I think he took it with him.
    Thanks.

    What you are looking for is readily available, but take money. That sort of thing is usually of the heirloom variety, and not exactly portable. Or, another source might be a chandler's shop where you might pick up a ship's chronometer. Maybe an Army/Navy surplus store.

    I think there are some windup travel clocks available, but haven't seen one lately.

    Bear?

    The best thing to do is to find a Manual Pocket Watch that has the Date mechanism... Bear knows which one it is.

    Try looking at Elgin.

    Try here if you looking at ebay.... there's a number of 8 day travel clocks.... not sure about a date function....

    I think a manual or automatic wind watch with a date function is the way to go.... unless you want the loud alarm function

    otherwise this a cool vintage alarm watch.... 17 jewels... and its a Seiko....

    Hope this helps.... hmmmm... that seiko looks pretty cool.... remember... manual and wind are EMP proof.... and you need a watch to use your homemade Kearney Survey Meter....:D
