I got a feeling that this will be the start and the police will get the blame even after being given a lawful order by the city goverment. That they ignored but we shall see.

Anti-corporation demonstrators ignored an order to evacuate their encampment outside Oakland, Calif., city hall, continuing to occupy Frank Ogawa Plaza overnight and going about their business as usual this morning.
Music blared and dozens of more tents were erected in the encampment Friday night. It was hardly the scene one would have expected after city officials issued an order that protesters were to vacate the plaza by 10 p.m.
"We're here to address the issues that have been raised in terms of public health and safety -- graffiti, urination, vandalism and making specific requests as to what the need to do as to address those issues," Oakland city spokeswoman Karen Boyd told ABC News station KGO-TV in San Francisco.
Boyd said demonstrators were welcome to protest in the plaza between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., but no later.
Despite the demonstrators' violation of the order to leave the park, there was no sign of an increased police presence.
"We've known from the beginning that this is an illegal occupation in the eyes of the city," protester Ali Hakimi told the San Francisco Chronicle. "We're just taking it day by day. We're consumed with people being fed, that they're safe, and outside of that, I don't know how far ahead we're thinking."
The problem of pending eviction isn't unique to Oakland.
Eleven protesters in San Jose, Calif., were arrested after occupying an area near city hall for nearly four weeks.
According to Occupy Together, an online group that seeks to streamline communication between all the Occupy demonstration encampments, protesters in Vancouver, British Columbia, are also facing legal pressure to vacate their tent city, which is on the lawn of an art gallery.
And in Melbourne, Australia, 100 protesters were arrested after defying an order to leave the plaza they had been occupying.
Protesters said they will suspend their occupation until further notice, according to ABC News Australia.
In London, protesters are grappling with whether to leave their post outside St. Paul's Cathedral after the famous tourist spot was shut down for the first time since World War II, due to safety concerns.
The dean of St. Paul's initially said he would not make the protesters leave, but many sightseers were angry that they couldn't see the cathedral because of the size of the tent city, which has grown exponentially since it was set up a week ago.
"We are very disappointed, because it's the second day we tried to see St. Paul's Cathedral," a tourist told ABC News Radio. "It's a very important point in London."
Protesters said they will gather for a vote Sunday about whether to leave the space.
In New York, denizens of Zuccotti Park made space for families to spend Friday night camped out as part of the first-ever Occupy Wall Street family sleepover.
The event included pizza, a sing-along and a bedtime story.
But the families' restful night was interrupted early Saturday morning when Dylan Farenhorst Spaelstra, 21, scaled the park's 70-foot-tall sculpture, refusing to come down until Mayor Michael Bloomberg resigned.
"This movement means people take action in different ways. There's certainly respect for different tactics," Occupy Wall Street spokesman Bil lDobbs said. "But as you can see, we've been going out very simply marching over the past month."
And more marching is what's in store for the residents of Zuccotti Park and their compatriots in other cities. They'll be joining movements across the country to participate in the 16th National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality.
The Occuppy Wall Street movement, which began in New York City on Sept. 17 to protest corporate greed, has spread to more than 1,500 cities to date.

I think that this is liberal left put up, and that the outcome is to get it to go violent and then declare martial law. Once martial law would be declared, then that would suspend the constitution and all elections. Where would that leave us ? opps !

Bonus Army - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BS move on them. For those of you that don't know, read the link and research it because it was worse then being reported. The President and 3 people that became WWII heroes, one eventually President, should have been hung for treason at the time.

Many I have spoken to about the current scenario ,say they feel it's only a matter of time and 1 person to do anything that would triiger an all out response! It's a powder keg only awaiting a fuse to be lit!

Someone had posted that a few months ago first time I had ever seen the Bonus Army information. Im glad that I got the chance to read it I find alot of true event's get left out of the history books. About how our country treat's our hero's when the are used up and no longer of a service to them.

I agree Dragonnfly all it's going to take is one person from either side to set off a $h!t storm. Their are alot of angry and feel backed in a corner. They don't have any idea of these type of groups and what their action cause. They just jump on the band wagon and don't understand it make's things worse and there are other way's to try and handle the problems at hand. The main problem is people are scared and depserate and people are dangerous when in that state of mind. Something I found funny was the other day Odumba$$ was on the news acting as if he was in support of the protesters and how he respected that. I was thinking Hell you are the cause of all this these people I hope are not that blind not to see. If we got rid of him and a few other this Country might stand a chance.

I only found out about the Bonus Army a few years ago and wonder how many other things happened that we don't know about. The .goob people don't want the real truth to be told, so you never here about the bad things from the past in history class. Check out what really happened before Pearl Harbor to get us into WWII, that will piss you off.

I believe that our only chance is to set term limits and get the career scum politicians out of office and get people in there that actually give a S about this country.

I'm of the same mindset. I just don't know what the fuse will be. I was worried the Tuscon massacre in...February? might have been it, but apparently not. I'm not sure if it's good or bad it wasn't. Me, I prefer to have SHTF so it can be over and done with and we can move on from that point. I don't like waiting.

P.S. I will be posting more again now that I've got another computer. Still used, but much newer than my old one, by at least 5 years I figure.

Yeah, I read that post here about the Bonus Army, and YES, it pissed me off big time! Too many things have taken place and have been annotated to the benefit of the clowns in power! "We the people" have been screwed, royally!
And unfortunately, it's NOT going to end soon....IF and when we are so lucky, wemay discover a lot more thna wemay even want to know...sometimesIgnorance is bliss!
Personally, I'd love to be alone in a room wit Sen. Arlen Spectre (ret.) ( with a cattle prod!) and I'd get the truth about the JFK assination and the REAL Warren commission's report, not the one the public was proffered! Lies on top of lies.....! Deceit, all just to stay in power, with their greed and lust, But then, they are somuch better than the rest of us! We NEED them, to shelter us from the truth!
I call BS on the lot!

My father (horse cavalry with Pershing in Mexico and motorcycle infantry in France in WW1) was a "bonus marcher"...

He and I went from horse cavalry to air cavalry in one generation. Pancho Villa to Ho Chi Minh...
