Whoops! walked into my local pawnshop, he's got a really nice S&W 4" model 66
( stainless k-frame .357, adj sights, wood target grips) for $575.0 Seems like a new in the box retail price???
Outta his mind(?) or have they gone way up in value??

    No locks are in demand...

    Still too high.
    (But I've seen things close)

He's about $200 overpriced on that revolver. At that price, it is probably about double what it sold for when it was new!

I paid either $400 or $450 for one off my uncle a year ago. It has a 2.5" barrel. Nice little gun. Never thought I would own a 2" .357 in such a large frame. Not even really sure what role it fills for me.... I just like it.

Handle a Mdl 27, a 357 mag built on the even larger N frame.

You can't pay too much for a gun, you can only pay it too early. I have bought them for a good bit less than that but if I was without a good K-frame, I'd come pretty close to that price. Everybody needs at least one.
