I started a thread on chimney information and wood stoves and I can't find it.... anywhere. I thought I put it in basics but I think it got accidentally deleted or something and I wanted to add something to it.
http://www.survivalmonkey.com/forum/off-grid-living/22350-wood-stoves-q.html We're trying to keep all the wood stove posts in one place
That's not mine. I didn't do that one. Somebody else did that one and I just checked through all my subscriptions and it's gone from there too. Mine was different.
Your post was Merged with an existing one for easy reference. We'll try to remember to send a PM when editing, merging, moving a thread in the future to avoid confusion.
Actually, I'm pretty sure I started the thread and I titled it, 'For those researching wood stoves...' It was showing up in my subscribed threads until it was "merged". Perhaps Candy also had a thread that was merged into the older thread. The ghost of my original thread may now be found as a post numbered #70 in the older thread started by another member. I found the link I used to start the thread I created at another website and thought it was an interesting read is all and that others might enjoy reading it. I had read the other thread and chose to start a new thread instead as I was more interested in a different type of information than that which is manifesting itself in the other thread but.... I'll just go with the flow of that thread since everything's been conveniently merged.
Sorry. We do it all the time. Many times a Thread started with just a link to another site with more information is deemed better suited in an existing thread with similiar information. It makes for searching on topics easier. From: http://www.survivalmonkey.com/forum/welcome-new-members/4757-survivalmonkey-com-site-rules.html
I've read this website's rules. Thank you for sharing a direct link but.... I'm already going with the "flow" over in the thread mine was merged into so no problemo.... we're all on the same page now I guess. Just out of curiosity.... is there a TOS somewhere that I've missed? One of those deals like GardenWeb has posted for their members at their forums? Just curious.
