Has anyone tried any of this stuff? I've shot up about half a case of Wolf steelcase breaking in my carbine, and am looking to try something else. Especially if the brass can be reused. This might be my first reloading exercise, if all goes well. The ad is taken from the aimsurplus website.

No sir, never tried it and know nothing of this ammo. However, the ammo you are considering isn't much difference in price than stateside 55 gr. FMJ factory ammo. Now maybe there is something different about the ammo in question and I'm comparing apples to oranges :dunno:

Check this supplier out, I purchased some .45 ACP, 9mm and .223 earlier this week, price has increased since I was earlier this week. Seems as soon as the shelves are stocked, it's out the door. Obtaining 7.62x39mm is a crap shoot around here.

Picked up 1200 rds. of Federal American Eagle 55 gr. Boat tail for $3.50/box from a local sporting goods store, cost me $210 about 6 weeks ago, regular price on this ammo is $4.00/box from this store, plenty in stock at the moment.

Earlier this week I picked up 800 rds. of Remington UMC 55 gr. MC for $3.50/box from the same store for $140.

That's all I know, which isn't much, same as usual.

ghrit, I with ya on reloading, only way I will be able to afford shooting if the price and availability of ammo continues on the same trend. [boozingbuddies]
