We now have 843 active members, many of them having joined us in the past few months. Our growing community has been re-energized by these new members who bring information, new topics for discussion, and a global perspective to some of our older threads. Thanks to all our new preppers - I, for one, am thoroughly enjoying your presence.
No, thank YOU simian founders. Without this community and outlet we'd be labeled as crazy and have no outlet whatsoever (those other boards are way not my speed, I am a member of a few others).
+1.. I'm even labeled "crazywingnutjob" on a forum that I helped startup.. And they are wanting to move the forum to a more "mainstrem" place.. Lol This place is great, plenty of info and I been reading up as much as I can here for the past month or so..
The other main forum I've been in since 1998 is going more mainstream. The owner's wife and daughter are taking over, and now we have to be "nice" to each other no matter if the truth can't be told. I think they prefer more "open minded" people than I. It will go the way of American Survival Guide in days gone by. The only reason I'm not here more than I am is because this site is banned at work. New discussions can only help. jim
I've noticed it too. It takes a certain amount of quality activity to make a forum roll along on it's own. Thanks to all the new members who are bringing a fresh perspective. I'm surprised that we're blocked at some workplaces and countries. One of the goals of our profanity filter and moderation was to avoid that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is the first Fourm I have paid attention to in a long long time Carlos had a few good things to say. Keep the quotes coming. "A rule of thumb for a warrior is that he makes his decisions so carefully that nothing that may happen as a result of them can surprise him, much less drain his power." Carlos Castaneda
