When did Nigeria look good? That place has been rife with disease of one sort or another for a LONG time. That does not diminish the bird flu thing at all, it just makes it look like Lagos will be a repository of viruses for quite a while. What raises my curiousity is how did it get there? There is a vector out there we don't yet know about.
Yeah... pretty bad for a long time... but that's what makes it worse.... combine this with anything other than the common flu.... and the prospects could be even more frightening... theirs lots of bad stuff like AIDS and Ebola down there..... My guess is the migratory birds brought it or imported somehow in the chicken farms....
