An old idea, but looks well done, most of old ones were home made and had a good chance of damaging the weapon or of being limp and hard to use. Obvious advantage has always been that the range safety officer could tell at a distance if the weapon was safe, but with single shots or auto's, never could be 100 % sure at a distance..

 

With pint ball guns there are barrel blocks at the end of the barrel when not in use. good idea .
