    Not sure where to put this.... more interesting videos of a time long past when things were done one at a time with pure muscle power and industrial might....

    It takes a while to load... but if you're patient ... its worth the wait.... (after the first time you view it.... it loads up right away)

    Interesting facts...

    Netherton's works made the anchors for the Titanic in 1910-11.The bow anchor was 16 tonnes requiring 20 horses to haul it to the Lloyd's proving house to be tested for strength.The two stern anchors weighed 8 tonnes each. With almost 2000 feet of chain the total weight was over 100 tonnes of anchor and chain.
