    I agree, it doesn't seem to fit anywhere on the site.

    I use these Radio Signals every day... They tell me what vessels are in the area, Speed, Course, Destnation, CallSign, MSSI Number, Cargo Type, vessel Name, & Home Port....

    As I read the map there seems to be no mid-Alantic or mid-Pacific traffic. Is that correct?

    Yea, VHF only goes about 100 miles from the Coast, and the AIS Receivers that feed the Reporting System, are usually Shore Based...

    I have an AIS tracking App on my phone and I use it about every day.
