I had some serious problems with my TLE Pro; it failed to extract most of the time, rendering it usless for a defensive carry weapon. I just sent it back to Kimber and they replaced the slide with one that didn't have to external extractor; problem solved. My wife and I just finished a smorgasborg of ammo, around a thousand rounds, without a single miss-fire or failure to extract. I have spoken less than favorably about the over-priced non-functioning gun on a couple of occassions, but I really think I'm gonna like this weapon now that the bugs are worked out.

Glad you got it fixed, I have a Kimber Eclipse and love it. It is my BBQ gun. If you are looking for a decent carry gun that is less expensive, I have also been impressed with my Rock Island Armory. I think the more you shoot the Kimber the more you will like it. Is it your carry gun or a range gun?

    Why apologize Sea ?

The damn thing should have been right from round one .

I paid $375 and $500 for my Charles Daly 1911's took them out of the box and started shooting them , if they hadn't been right they shouldn't have left the factory IMHO .

When people buy a TV they expect to take it home and plug it in and hook up the cable and watch it without problems , when you buy a toaster you expect to be able to have toast the next morning with your breakfast .

Why is it that gun companies think that WE the consumer are unreasonable when we expect their products to work and work correctly from the get go ? Better yet why do we feel guilty for telling the world that they made a crappy product ?

I am glad they had the decency to provide good customer service but that's the least they could do after not having decent QC standards at their factory .

I shot a couple of mags through a Custom II this weekend and I really liked it.

I agree with BigO. It is nice and all that they fixed their mess though shouldn't they have avoided it in the first place? If we continue to feel guilty when we call someone on their mistakes, then there will be obviously more mistakes and little remedy. Glad you got it worked out SC. Happy gunnin'. :D
