I am just getting into survival mode again, but have a long (18 year) military history to draw from. I have a vision of my needs but I am also open to new ideas.

There are some interesting forums that are within my area of expertise, combat medicine, that I am reading through, but I also have a firm grasp on training & tactics as well. looking forward to contributing some ideas.
Paradoc. We need a training and tactics forum. We can use medic in case one of us puts a round through our foot. I'm sure you've seen it all being for 18 yrs.
How do we go about getting a T&T forum? that sounds like a great idea as I was thinking there was something missing, especially after the last few years worth of real world practice.
Ft Sam I am actually about 35 miles north of Houston now, I trained at Ft Sam both as student and instructor though.
My son was 91W in the Army, he did his training there. He went from there to Barstow, CA for a year and a half. I take it that you are still active?
Welcome aboard. Sounds like you should have some good info to contribute and if theres anything your interested in just ask, we have a good pool of individuals around here with enouph diversity to be able to have info on nearly any topic as long as someone thinks to come up with the question to get the person who has it to pipe up and share it with all of us.
