It is not "could be". It is "IS" A Giant Thing for the residents of that County.... And their Sheriff said he will a abide by the Vote, and prioritize the use of his resources, with this in mind....
Also for this state. There is all out political warfare going on here over the Second Amendment. Our leaders need to see the potential for needing a new job come election time. I sure hope to hell the sleeping giant has finally woken up. An example of the never let a tragedy go to waste mentality, before the bodies in Roseburg were cold they were promising legislation to ban AR and other military style weapons, even though one wasn't used in the murders.
That's the problem. Population centers and seats of power tend to be predominately owned by the political left, along with media influence. Then the rest of the population has to live by their rules, which build on each other and tighten like a noose. As long as there appears to be little no objection, the left takes bigger and bigger bites out of liberties. The old adage "give 'em an inch and they take a mile" was never so relevant. Hats off to Coos County residents.
