Anyone use these. Were they really developed by a Dr. for NASA? Do they really store for 10 years? If the above is true then they would make a great emergency item to keep on hand and aren't too expensive. I've heard of them before but never really looked into them. From what I can tell 3 pills is a one day supply, does each pill contain 33% of the nutrients or could you take one a day and get enough vitamins to supplement what you are eating. If no one is familiar with these what kind of vitamins do you stock up for emergencies? Do you just buy them off the shelf? If so how long can you expect them to last?
Nitro-Pak does sell quality products. The vitamins you listed are 10 year vitamins, but bear in mind that they do lose their potency over time. I am not an expert in nutrition, but I can tell you that if you stock up on nutritious foods, you will not need to buy expensive vitamins. It's your choice, though. If you do buy vitamins, try to keep in mind that they will not keep their full potency more than 2 to 3 years unless specified otherwise. Many store bought vitamins lose their potency rather quickly (as fast as 90% in one year). The ones advertised at Nitro-Pak claim In fact, Super Spectrim Multi-Vitamins are so effective you'd have to buy 5 to 15 bottles of "standard" mulit-vitamins to equal these. They're made to store for 10 years without losing but minor potency.
