Oh boy, this ain't good. Just got off P/P and they will hit the streets Oct 1st. They will field for the first time a new non lethal package for crowd control right here in this country. This is against Section 1385 of the Posse Comitatus act and carries a two year prison term for violators. This has been repealed in its entirety by HR 4986 The National Defense Authorozation Act back to the state to the state of the Insurrection Act of 1807. www.prisonplanet.com/us-troops-in-homeland-crowd-control-patrols-from-october1st.html.#comments
I was just gonna post the links to this article. Beat me to it. This is just not good news, no matter which way you cut it. Scares the crap outta me, and I'm not even in the US... http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/0...eland_090708w/
Funny about the timing. On a bunch of different websites they are talking about something big happening on Oct 7. Something that will make 9/11 pale in comparison. Coincidence or just luck on the timing? You decide. And good luck to everyone I think we're going to need it soon.
Yea, timing is everything....like when we transported all those prison containers to Gitmo a year before our war on Terror...somebody is either playing with the crystal ball or playing with loaded dice.
We're not the only ones that smell fish on this one. http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/0...eland_090708w/ BTW, seacowboy, I hadn't heard about the containers to Gitmo before. Interesting...but definitely not surprising.
