I can't imagine that it could take the recoil for an extended period of time; might be ok for the few times most people would actually shoot it, but those two little lugs aren't designed for that type of bounce.
Have to agree. Your better off buying one of the cheaper single shots made to shoot the 50 then to break the AR lower when you really need it!
No..no...I wasn't going to buy one. I was just thinking about how much pressure would be on those two pins. In fact, I'm not even sure I'd want to fire one of those things. I wonder how much testing they did.
There have been several companies making .50 uppers for years, I have seen no reports of pin failure. True they are not the best choice for sustained fire, but that is more due to recoil effects on the shooter. Then again proper usage is to fire one shot and move.
