I caught a bit earlier where they talked about the AR-15 and how devastating of a weapon it is. They interviewed first responders who were at that church shooting in Texas and talked about schools. Of course, the inanimate object was the problem. There was no talk about personal responsibility. I really think buying an AR and ammo while it's all available and at reasonable prices is what folks should do.
Yes I watched part of it... comparing a 9mm auto to a 5.56 rifle, what's not fair about that? (I puked and turned it off) Rancher
Better they should compare it to am M1A in 7.62X51 NATO.... or The Browning BAR in .30-06... or In other words, there are weapons in the market that have way more destructive potential than the AR15. The anti-gun crowd is just looking to get the elephant's trunk under the tent.
Have not watched 60 Minutes in years because of their Libtard take on things. Last time I decided to see what was up with them was their BS show on the Remington 700's going off with the safety on. Have not watched since.
Drunk driving kills more people per day than guns do. Where's the story on this? 60 minutes haven't been the same since Andy Rooney passed away.
Black rifle prices were at something like 15 year lows and haven't really seemed to go up much. Now is the time to get it. I have studied the lethality of 556 ammo. It's meh. Now a black powder cannon loaded with nails would be a horror show.
At 72 years old I'll have to stick with my old Higgins made 3" 12 breakopen single as I can no longer comfortably shoulder a 3 pounder cannon along with my loaded ALICE medium rig.
I never hear anything about people needing to take personal responsibility for their actions. Or any mention of how semi-auto weapons have been around for a long time. It's a problem with the thinking of people nowadays. I was thinking of them showing what a 12 gauge does, but then they would be calling for them to be made illegal.
