I saw this in Fox News a few days ago (17 May 2018)… It is simply a story about a WW2 veteran whose birthday is on the same day as the invasion of Europe. Yep! The 6th of June, D-Day is also his B-Day. However, what makes this so special is he was there but "was miraculously pulled off a Normandy-bound boat on D-Day."

He is turning 100 yr-old this D-Day/B-Day and all he wants is 100 birthday cards.

Mine goes into the mail this morning, along with a simple note of thanks to the old warrior, and I hope some of you can find the time to do the same.

I saw that and wrote the address down and will be sending him a card and a little something inside as well. He deserves it.
