There are a great number of companies trying to cash in on the close in drone. at present the most effective weapon is the shotgun. There is a great deal of ammo being designed and tested for the rifle. The real hope here is the the individual soldier could swap out a magazine in his issue weapon and have an effective anti drone weapon.
