ANTIFA ATTACKS

This seems really simple to me, the mayor, the police employed by the mayor, and antifa are all on the same side.

I would say all the police that are not socialists are looking for a new job and the mayor is fine with it. He wan't more police on his payroll that share his beliefs.

The antifa crowd is the mayor's base, why would he send the police to attack them? He is going to let them harass his opponents as long as they don't do too much damage to infrastructure, he will probably even allow for a little damage as long as it will not break the budget.

At best the police are there to protect antifa and keep an eye on them, sort of like managers. At worst, it is a trap to get people like you and I to react so they can arrest the opposition, charge them with a felony, and/or disarm them.

    They want to kill us.

Your view of the situation sounds accurate. Like a bunch of parents with misbehaving children that they can't rein in. When another adult steps in to correct the behavior these parents defend their children.

    Wouldn't last long around here.

As I understand it, many good cops are leaving and Portland is having trouble replacing them (with good cops), then there are the rest of them. They have a badge, gun, and a job and will happily do whatever the powers that be want them to do. In my book, that doesn't make them cops, that makes them the mayor's goon squad

Happy to be in Florida. I have my CCW. We have "stand your ground", "Castle Doctrine". Here castle doctrine includes your motor vehicle, boat, rv, or house. If you are surrounded and in fear for your life or those who may be with you, at the point where they try to disable vehicle and or break in you can use whatever force necessary to protect yourself. In one early case in south Florida an elderly lone man in his car was first struck vehicle to vehicle from the rear. When the old guy pulled over the other guy did as well. When the huge angry man approached the old man's drivers window screaming profanities with a baseball bat, and struck the window, the old man shot him in chest with model 29 S&W 44mag, permanently ending the incident. Grand Jury decided no crime committed, cited castle doctrine, fear for life, self defense.

I for one will not be boxed in by a mob, without either firing shots, or running some assholes down first. After I will call my USCCA insurance people from nearest State, County or Local Law enforcement office just before I go in to make a very short statement about the incident and wait for my USCCA lawyer.

BTW, a quick plug for USCCA UNITED STATES CONCEALED CARRY ASSC. My 1 million dollar insurance policy is so much better than the johnny come lately insurance that the NRA came up with. They have 1000s of lawyers across the country ready to step up to first, get you out of jail on bail bond provided by them. 2nd their lawyer or one you choose will be paid for with your insurance for ANY SELF DEFENSE ISSUE you may be charged with no matter what kind of weapon you used to protect yourself, including your hands or any body part. my cost as a military veteran retiree monthly is $27. This IS THE INSURANCE YOU NEED in today's environment. PLEASE look into it and any other similiar insurance you can find. I think you will agree it is awesome, and the best.

Other than being a happy customer, i have no connection to this company.

The useful idiots in the streets don't want to be shot, but the puppet masters certainly want them to and will make certain it happens at the most opportune time. They will wait a bit to see if someone in opposition snaps and does it for them and if not will use an agent provocateur.

Might happen just before the mid terms to get a response from the voters. Not for Oregon voters, though, because Soros already owns the state. Instead the event will be use to influence votes elsewhere. I anticipate two to three days before the election as it's time enough to get the story plastered everywhere and incite the left to vote but not long enough for an investigation to take place. If not the mid terms, then it will be in 2020.

Meanwhile.... .GOV is burning through cash at a rate of 3 times what they take in revenue but we don't care because we are watching these clowns at the circus.

Easier to just let them sink with their city. Once productive citizens and businesses have had enough they will leave, taking the tax base that the city relies on. With nobody left to intimidate their usefulness will have ended and their funding will dry up. They'll need jobs, but have no skills, and even if they had, all the good jobs will have already moved away. Sound familiar? Detroit 1968-

Related story just to give you an idea of how far left the Portland Metro area is. This incident took place in Vancouver, WA which is just across the Columbia.

Washington man put Trump stickers on his car as a joke — it couldn’t have backfired more

The gist is that the man's brother in law put the stickers on his truck as a joke two days before the truck was vandalized and burned. He thought the stickers were funny (not a Trump fan) and left them. Two days later he had one too many beers at a bar and took an Uber home. He had parked his truck directly under a light thinking it would be the safest bet. When he checked in the truck the following morning this is what he saw:

I myself had the rear window of my Jeep GC basked out twice when I lived in SW Portland. Each time was shorty after I put a US flag sticker in the rear window. Fortunately I moved right after that and didn't have to replace any more glass.

Portland has had a very busy weekend and it seems like here is no end. Headline yesterday was:
Bear spray, bloody brawls at Patriot Prayer 'law and order' march in Portland
Bear spray, bloody brawls at Patriot Prayer 'law and order' march in Portland

Please look at the link. Videos of violence and rioters inside.

I am thankful that I do not live in Oregon or had a vacation planned there. @Dunerunner is correct, I would not visit there. Nor will anyone in my family be visiting that area in the future. My boys were supposed to go to Portland suburb for Thanksgiving but that plan has been canceled. These Antifa people have the Governor, Mayor and police backing them so it seems like they are getting bolder in their actions. I watched a few videos on what happened in Portland. The news forgot to report that Antifa was also throwing balloons filled with hot sauce at the Patriots.

I asked you all, would any of you walk with the Patriot Prayer group? The Patriots hold gatherings in different areas. If a gather came to an place near you, would you attend?

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

    This isn't a revolution.

This is voter manipulation and propaganda testing. The folks who screwed this country up are tugging heart strings on both sides for their own evil purposes.

If y'all see me on the news caught in that mess you can count on seeing me getting out of there using tooth and claw with purpose.

sort of a testing ground? Sadly... to me this smacks of californication... which SEEMS to be coming to every state...

they created a state of high prices... trash... and massive government overreach...

and now they're running away from what they created and bringing it with them... cause what they had was so... wonderful?

Not sure if it was a testing ground or manipulation but it is certainly shining a spotlight on issues. Yes, I would attend an event and be one of many letting antifa know that there are people who oppose them. Numbers matter. The more people that stand up and say no, will put these animals on notice. The silent majority eventually has to say enough and get active. Yes, they may stroll to the voting booth but things will continue to go downhill if people do not get vocal daily.
