Apocalypse Law by John Grit

I am currently reading Apocalypse Law by John Grit. It is a series that was recommended by one of our members. It is a really good read. I completed the first and will be starting the second book in the series. This is a series of 5 books.

At the end of book one the main character Nate is rethinking one of his decisions so I am anxious to read book two and see what happens. While reading the book and reading a current thread on the monkey, I realized that I am weak in medical preps. Cuts, injuries etc I am well prepped but when it comes to infections and illnesses that is a weakness. I always enjoy when a book helps me re-examine things then helps me to get better prepared.

I think the book is semi-realistic. Yes, the characters have some advantages but the author does a really good job with describing the father/ son relationship. Reading about the son is good because while kids may act mature, they are still young and the author portrays that really well.
