My back started hurting yesterday while I was milking a goat. I blamed it on my wife pulling weeds in the garden. She pulls weeds and my back hurts, we are a team. I am finding all sorts of new aches and pains. I am starting curcumin daily to hopefully ease those aches and pains.
I'm 66. I've had a trick knee for years.now it looks like I need knee replacement.that knee pops unexpectedly every once in a while. I also have a bad back. I get out of breath easily due to low oxygen level in my blood. I find that over the counter pain reliever and arthritis pain reliever works for me when it comes to my aches n pains.but only up to a point. I plan on talking with my primary doctor about it during my next appointment visit. I've learned that a person can make a very strong pain reliever with certain weed(s) in which I need to look into that more.
Yeah, I woke up one morning and was 72! WTH! How did that happen? Sucks! With it came the long laundry list of old man aches and pains and etc.... However, it does beat the alternative.
Had been going to PT for my back got it somewhat straightened out noe my right foot ankle hurts doc said it was tendonitis. Golden years my ass
I haven't been bothered with Arthritis since I began drinking teas daily made with Tumeric root, cinnonomin bark, Ginger root, and nettle. I ad some fresh local honey and a spash of cider vinegar and after about a few days, the pain and stiffness just went away and stays gone.
Two aspirin in the morning and two in the afternoon, keto diet, daily cold showers and hot sauna time, and a monthly 90 minute full body massage focused on circulation and flexibility. Lets face it. Alcohol is often a short term solution. That helps with most of my aches and pains. Hit list includes both torn rotator cuffs, shattered left femur, torn right ACL and LCL, broken L3 vertebre, and all the other stuff old paratroopers and construction workers get really don't bother me anymore.
thats me except for the vertebra. i did jump off a 60' r/r trestle,,several times so l4 l5 are not happy. sadly my deficits are from stupidity not service. thankyou for yours. by 18 i drank myself into a ulcer and a abcessed diverticulits 2 years ago took away the vodka i was so found of. asprin is also off my list. the celebrex is working good so far but seacowboys tea sounds like a better long term plan. torn cuffs are not helping me sleep. mom eventualy went to sleeping upright in a chair, for now im stacking pillows.
Carnivore and keto diet helps me. It's a shame what my Dad and now my Brother have to go through with RA. It rears it's head now and then for me, but I've got nothing compared to them. Well, Dad's gone now, but my bro is suffering, he takes meds and even has a medical marijuana thing going on, but he works all day as a mechanic and you should see his damn hands...all disfigured from the RA. He's a tough one, runs in the family. But yeah, I get a bit of tension and tightness in my hands and I just know I have to focus more on zero sugar and very low carbs and my body will adjust.
my diet is for shit.,, but i found out now that im 65 i can get a proxy for fish and moose. cant snag or dipnet with bad rotar cuff. no fish 2 years now. but thats over, time to plug the frezzer back in and get real food.
I think you will find a keto or carnivore diet can do wonders. But you have to stay with it for a couple of weeks sometimes to get the full effect and one f'up and the timer starts over.
Curcumin is the active portion of turmeric. You can take it in pill form or in a tea. Health food stores as well as many drug stores and grocery stores will have it. I think some brands are better than others, but anything that has curcumin should help. Boswellia is another herbal treatment that deals with inflammation. That is the main cause of most pain.
jaybird, do you know how exactly Curcumin and Boswellia decrease inflammation? Is it by thinning the blood as aspirin does or ??? I suppose I could look this up on Google, and I will, but sounds like you have a good handle on this and might give me a better explanation, one that my biology challenged brain could understand. @kissmybrass Why haven't you got that torn cuff repaired? They can do a lot with microsurgery now so maybe you wouldn't even need to be cut open. I'm just curious.
.. .. dis dude Bharat Aggarwal had 29 plus plus research papers retracted due to research fraud .. .. them papers had to do wid Curcumin or oder stuff n things .. .. .. .. Curcumin in small quantities probably aint gonna kill ya .. .. probably aint gonna help ya dat much either .. ..
self employed. my w2 income is about 580 a month. i put that into the obama care site and cheapest plan was 1600 or so. might need replacment at this point. just turned 65 so medicare on the way,,,, we will see what they can do.
