Hey kids, I hope this is OK to post. I have been running the 511 Skyweight Utility Chest Pack for my rucking and riding to get faster access to my pistol when carrying a full sized back pack, that preclude waist or shoulder holsters. It came out last January at SHOT Show and I have to say for what I want it to do, it works great.
I think this is an excellent idea from an excellent company! I really like 5.11 products and always look at them first for any purchase of this type of equipment. I couldn't watch the video because like most, he stubbled all over the place, driving me nuts...but I did get the message about the chest pack. Thanks!
I have used a ragged old Motorola radio chest rig for years, because my G-36 fits in the admin pocket and everyone just thinks I'm a ham radio geek.

Watched it, seems like a good idea for those who want such things. Didn't mind the presentation, he got the points across and that he liked it, not some slick add agency being paid to shill it.. At my age I need a good chair to sleep in more than a chest rig. Might be a good item for after TSTF. I am more into surviving thru the event, then being super prepared to fight my way thru it and surviving afterwards. Was more interested in him being a ham and look forward to some radio posts from him. Very interested in both ham radio and comms of all kinds.
