Critical Race Theory and the Joint Chief of Staff

"Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, responded to criticism from Republican lawmakers Wednesday that members of the military are taught critical race theory, the academic concept that racism is a systemic, social construct.

In recent months, critical race theory has come under fire from conservatives who believe it should not be taught in public schools.

Testifying before the House Armed Services Committee, Milley, the nation’s highest-ranking military officer, said there was nothing wrong with learning from history."

They want to take over our schools and now it seems the military is on the front burner. Our military will be a paper tiger and that is just what the left wants. Purge the military of conservatives so if there is a left wing dictatorship (maybe coming sooner than later) any chance of overthrow is nullified

 

He had 1 part right,,,, " there is nothing wrong with learning from history " ,,,, he should have shut his mouth right after that .

 

Learning true history is one thing being brain washed with a falsified history with a specific agenda is another.The communists are notorious for their so called re-education camps. Our re-eduation camps are our government schools

 

Purging militaries are usually one of the first things done when either setting up or consolidating power in a totalitarian state - ask Uncle Joe (the real Uncle Joe, not Joey Biden, Joseph Stalin). It lost them millions of soldiers in WW2 with his purge of the officer's corps. And, that is in the history books. Perhaps we should be paying more attention to this...

It has to be said that Christian re-education camps (aka private religious schools) also make their contribution to brainwashing their charges ...just that they do so using the prism of socially regressive theology. Some severe and profound lib said on msnbc that "critical race theory is just a conspiracy theory" and tried to claim "it's just diversity awareness" or some bs to that effect.

 

Remember back in the 70's through the 90's when the states and fed. Gov demanded children attend public schools, and they would arrest the parents and seize the children and force them into public schools? Remember the push against home schooling and private schools? Yes, it happens, it happens to my brothers and I, and our folks stood up to the state and won! Even the SCOTUS backed it, claiming the state and the fed didn't have the right to demand strict education by their standards!

Remember the 90's "No Child Left Behind" mandatory minimums of education, where Americans were being measured against other nations and found wanting? Yea, I went through that with my boys when they were in school! Bang your head against the wall stupid!

 

Private schools and home schooling is taking off.

 

Take it back a bit farther to Bill Clinton.

 

I home schooled my daughter her last 2-3 years .

 

We did the same with our boys the last 4 years of their schooling, that was probably the very best thing we could have ever done for them!

 

Unfortunately the majority of students attend government schools not all parents can home school for many reasons and many can not afford private schools. My boys went to private school- believe me financially it was not easy but it was worth it. It's all about control-- that is why the government is apposed to school vouchers.

 

Guess it's how you look at it, the government controls school vouchers and as long as they are beholding to special interests like the teachers union those in government will yield to those special interests. As long as the demorats have control school vouchers will never come to pass

50+ years of a democratic controlled state has turned what was once a thriving and vibrant place to raise a family into an urban shit hole to rival third world shit holes in places most have never heard of!

We did our best to raise my two sons here, despite the many challenges we faced, I knew that with a proper outlook and proper parenting, the boys would have half a chance at a real future where the American dream could be achieved! Those boys are now grown men, out in the world on their own, with them is the hope that they can make a life of their own on their own terms, and I hope we have them every advantage we could! Both have chosen the honorable path of military service, in part because of our families history in the military, and in part because they saw it as the best chance they would have to make it! Both have decided to make it their life and I am very proud of them! They both have a solid future that no one can take from them with out a serious fight, few are willing to risk that! My hope is, that my soon to be grand child will also have that same future, and I'm Going to do my damnedest to make sure of it! It ain't going to be easy, but that's the whole point of the challenge! We will make sure that child is raised up right, taught truth and history without the rose colored glasses and the false agenda driven crap being taught today!
