I love it Bishop! I might have to borrow the concept to build an updated version of the Yooper Assault Rifle. I'm picturing a bullpup design with the firing mechanism enclosed in the stock and covered by a thick horse hide leather cheek piece. I have triple proofed this barrel material and trust that it's safe enough to hold next to my head. Besides, who builds muzzle loaded bullpups? Same guy that builds muzzle loaded AR's.
I'm looking forward to seeing your target tests with the star ship kit. I have a pile of old crutches laying around. Never know when you might need one.
Repurposing those crutches into a stock makes me think of a few of @DKR 's stories. Few people can see things for what they are as opposed to what we think they are.
